William married Harriett McIlwean EMERY (NOT PROVED), daughter of Thomas

James EMERY and Hannah MCILWEAN, in 1809 in Pitt Co., NC. Harriett was born

1779 (approx) in Craven Co., NC. She died in New Bern, NC. and was buried on

10 Jan 1827 in Christ Church, New Bern, NC.
