Loftin WIT M. Keathley, Riochard Keathley

NOTE: The Dails and GRIMSLEYs in Greene Co were neighbors although the Dails in Duplin appear to be out of Pitt.

WILL OF THOMAS HICKS - written 16 April 1775 - no probate - WIT was Sheard GRIMSLEY

Was this the son of John of Halifax or Sherwood of Greene and why that one reference.

I saw no GRIMSLEY in the Sampson/Duplin deed abstracts and only one mention of James as a WIT in the Duplin abstracts - nothing in the Court Records. There are few abstracts for Duplin so the original records need to be checked.
